World News: Osama Bin Laden's Death

"All men dream: but not equally," T.E. Lawrence, the legendary Lawrence of Arabia, once wrote. "Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes, to make it possible." Bin Laden is indeed one of the dangerous men that Lawrence described.

Want to go to Kenya? I do!

My dear friend and roommate Crystal Kemsley is an intern for Global Outreach Foundation and has shared some great news with me! They are going to Kenya from May 4th-16th to teach, mentor, and start community gardens with the people. Yes please! And even better it is relatively cheap, the program fee is $1,350 which includes in-country lodging, in-country facilitation to ensure highest possible safety and structure, transportation to and from projects, food, operational costs, learning excursion, donation to local sustainable development programs and a safari trip! I am an actress?

Well not really, but I did star in my fiance's student film "Birth" and it was really fun. I have never done any acting for a camera and luckily Sean made it easy on me... except for the tense bedroom scene, no worries, its not what it sounds like! I was trying to be serious but couldn't stop laughing. Sean edited really well though. Enjoy!

Watch it here, find out the convoluted message here!

Breathtaking Children's Rights Project by James Mollison

James Mollison has created a hardcover book featuring 112 color photographs, called "Where Children Sleep", depicting children and their bedrooms. This was so fun to look at!
